Nadia Reid – Call The Days
Eyreton Hall – Just In Case Allelujah
Marlon Williams – Dark Child
Mel Parsons – Get Out Alive
Among the full list are some of my personal favourites from other genres, including Anthonie Tonnon, and two each for SJD and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Best of luck to all the artists but, of course, we hope to see one of our folk friends take the top prize. For the full list of the Top 20 songs and artists click here.
The winner of the APRA Silver Scroll Award is decided by the votes of APRA’s members – over 10,000 New Zealand songwriters and composers. Voting for the award is now open, and closes at midnight on Sunday 9th August.
